I Recently installed DirectX9 on my Win2k box, however when the
windows autopatcher tried to update with KB904706 for windows 2000, the install
just hung.
After a bit of poking around I discovered there was a confict with
running CygWin sshd service at the same time.
Resolution: Net Stop SSHD before instaling the patch.
